Not saying yours is, but it’s something to know about. Log in or Sign up. Pins 5 and 6 on WD drives are for “factory use” only and I can’t think of any reason why you should have to cover those to get a working drive.

Click here to join today! When you say it’s not in BIOS do you mean that it’s not listed as an available boot device, since I think that’s the only place that you would see it? I have not used a socket asus board, it may have a setting in the raid bios.

The only ,8v is that it seems to take about 10 – 15 seconds to access anything on the drive. Advertisements or commercial links. The SATA drivers are out of date or for some other board. So I don’t think the problem has really been solved, especially since you are having access problems.
